    It is a blatant truism to say ‘everyone is different’, or the more educator specific ‘everyone learns differently’. So why do we insist on setting standardized teaching methods?  The reason lies in pragmatism. We can’t possibly cater to everyone’s learning style, so we aim for the broadest possible format and hope everyone can get at least something out of it.  But what if there was another way?
