If you’re one of the many attendees of this year’s ISTE Conference & Expo, you’re probably still trying to organise all of the information you got from the conference. Some have probably already made plans for what they’ll do with the information, and some may still be discussing online about what happened during their visit. Here are some of the things that you can do to ease your mind and body after a few days of running full throttle:
Talk with your peers
Absorb and soak in all the information that you can gather post-ISTE. You may have questions that only your peers can answer, or you may even gain new ideas from acquaintances and colleagues. Maybe grab some coffee with them and re-cap on some of the other things Philadelphia had to offer so that you can ease your mind off of all the knowledge you’ve just gathered.
Follow up with tweets
If you don’t want to talk to anyone (you may have filled your small talk quota for a lifetime at ISTE205), you can use the hashtag #ISTE2015 and read up on the latest events. Whether it’s a presentation going on, an expo, or a seminar, you’ll surely be up to date with all the latest information from the events you weren’t able to attend. If you want to learn more, you can also ask your online peers about what you missed, so you can get a clearer picture of what you didn’t see or hear. Pictures are a great help here, so give and you shall receive.
Sleep is not only necessary to get complete rest, but it is also essential for you to fully function. From all the walking, talking, and learning you’ve done at the event, your body is probably tired, and what greater way to restore or refuel your energy than a good night’s rest?
If you are feeling a bit glamorous, a massage could give your body the treat it deserves! It will help remove some of the stress and tension that your body has experienced during a very tiring trip. Rejuvenation (and a bit of a treat) can push you in the right direction.
Attending ISTE is always an exciting and enriching experience. It’s something worth getting tired over, but don’t forget to unwind, de-stress, and relax after the event.
Because you’re worth it.
