Calling all Kami enthusiasts! Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of the Kami Certified Educator program. This certification program was created to recognize classroom educators who implement Kami into their teaching—and enjoy advocating it, too!
Whether you’re new or have been an avid Kami user for years, we are thrilled to provide another platform for you to share, connect, and develop within the Kami community.
What does it mean to be a Kami Certified Educator?
The Kami Certified Educator program is designed for classroom educators who are already familiar with the Kami tools (including Learning Management System integrations) and want to take their digital learning skills to a new level.
To earn your certificate, you must complete the Kami Fundamentals Course to cement your Kami knowledge. Alongside the online course, we require you to interacting with our inspiring community to share your experiences and generate new ideas. The full 5-step application process is discussed in more detail further down.
Earning the Kami Certified Educator badge and certificate demonstrates that you are able to effectively implement Kami into your classroom and have a high-level grasp of the tools and integrations needed to create a dynamic digital learning environment.
To ensure you’re able to maintain your skills, the Kami certification is valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of issue.
What do I need to do to become certified?
The Kami certification program is totally free of charge and can be acquired through these five, easy steps:
1. Apply—tell us more about you!
Completing the application means that you’re interested in becoming a Kami Certified. Allow 5-10 minutes to complete this application form.
2. Learn from the Kami Fundamentals Course
To ensure you’re up-to-date with the product, you must complete the Kami Fundamentals Course. Only educators who completed Step 1 will receive an email invite to this course.
3. Join the community
Meet other members of the Kami community and connect with them through our online channels and groups.
4. Share your story
Share your #KamiforSchools impact story on our online community channels. More instructions are available upon completing Step 2.
5. Verify your involvement
You must submit a form to verify that you have completed Step 1 to 4. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by the Kami team. The reviewing process may up to 7 days to complete and for a Kami team member to send your Kami Certified Educator kit via email.
