    November is National Novel Writing Month, which has people from all over the United States feverishly writing to complete a novel by the end of the month. National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun new approach to creative writing. The project started in July 1999 with 21 participants, and by 2010, over 200,000 people had taken part and written over 2.8 billion words.
